Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers are gels which are injected into the skin with a very fine needle to smooth out wrinkles and fine lines. They are injected into the mid-part of the skin (the dermis) restoring lost volume thereby correcting surface folds and creases. This treatment is simple and straightforward and offers immediate results. Dermal fillers can also be used for lip enhancement and facial contouring and are particularly good at improving the nose to mouth lines (nasolabial folds) as well as restoring the contours of the corners of the mouth (marionette lines).

What is Hyaluronic Acid?
There are many Dermal fillers on the market, the safest of which comprise of Hyaluronic Acid. This is a natural product, already present in the skin, which binds water to hydrate the skin, giving it volume and suppleness. It also promotes growth of collagen, which acts as a support for the skin. Hyaluronic Acid decreases with age and so the skin loses volume and supportive collagen leading it to sag and fold.

After this the product is naturally broken down by the body.
